Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical architecture, planning, and execution for migrating complex on-premises SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) to Microsoft Azure.
  • •Evaluate on-premises environments, size Azure CPU/RAM, optimize storage throughput (IOPS), and design Azure landing zones (VNets, subnets, ExpressRoute, NSGs) for SAP traffic.
  • •Formulate and drive migration roadmaps using lift-and-shift, OS/DB migrations, and brownfield/greenfield S/4HANA conversions with SUM DMO/SWPM.
  • •Deploy and configure Azure services for SAP availability and recovery, including HA/DR, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and implement clustering/failover components.
  • •Perform SAP basis operations such as transport management (TMS), client copies/system refreshes, and manage SAP Cloud Connector and Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO mapping.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in SAP Basis, including 3-5 years focused on hyperscaler cloud migrations (specifically Azure).
  • •Experience leading technical architecture, planning, and execution for migrating on-premises SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) to Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS.
  • •Deep proficiency in Linux (RHEL/SUSE) and Windows Server environments, with strong SQL/HANA administration skills.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • •SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration or SAP Certified Technology Specialist - OS/DB Migration for SAP HANA; and Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty (AZ-120).
