Job Summary

Senior Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary delivery across brownfield and greenfield oil and gas projects in Qatar. Responsible for execution per project plans, maintaining safety, quality, schedule and cost targets, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and potentially acting as Proposal/Study/Project Manager for smaller scopes.

Key Responsibilities

•Champions health, safety, environmental and quality cultures; leads by example to ensure safety and quality
•Supports delivery of project and engineering excellence for assigned scopes
•Takes ownership of assigned project scope to ensure timely delivery per procedures, practices and standards
•May be appointed as the Proposal, Study or Project Manager for small to medium scopes
•Coordinates activities with Lead Engineers and other departments to ensure tender/project scopes are interpreted correctly and deadlines met

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline
•Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
•Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar as a Grade A or B Engineer desirable
•Ideally candidates will have further education and certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP or APM)
•Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office for development of documents, presentations, trackers and schedules
