Job Summary

Develop resilient distributed backend services and tooling to support product operations and engineering across Addepar’s data platforms. You will debug cross-team issues, drive software delivery, and improve processes while working with Java, Linux, and modern infrastructure (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes) to enable scalable client data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop resilient distributed services and high quality tooling to support product operations and engineering.
•Investigate and debug complex issues that span across teams and applications.
•Drive software delivery and improve the engineering processes we use to develop and release software.

Key Requirements

•Extensive backend software engineering experience
•Proficiency in developing with server-side OO languages like Java
•Proficiency with Linux
•Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
•Familiarity with HTTP, developing REST and web APIs
