Maintain and repair heavy construction equipment by diagnosing malfunctions, inspecting and operating machines, and rebuilding or overhauling components. Weld broken parts, dismantle and reassemble equipment, and use tools like micrometers and gauges to assess wear. Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA/MSHA procedures, complete recordkeeping for time and parts, and support maintenance operations alongside the maintenance team as needed.
