Key Responsibilities

  • •Support quoting, data organization, and creation of technical documentation for complex customer programs, including BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews.
  • •Assist with internal cost-modeling and development of quoting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • •Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents across the solution lifecycle from award through delivery.
  • •Participate in cross-functional meetings to learn the full solution lifecycle and bridge engineering, sales, and operations.
  • •Lead a capstone mini-project to improve process efficiency, such as automating quoting workflows or streamlining documentation and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •3–5 years of engineering/manufacturing experience (including internships/co-ops), ideally supporting Xometry A&D customers.
  • •Foundational knowledge of manufacturing principles including CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Wire harness Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Welding.
  • •Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and interpreting manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
  • •Strong data management and organizational skills handling multi-line data in Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/CRM systems, plus clear communication in technical discussions.
