Key Responsibilities

  • •Systematically deconstruct technologies and protocols to perform exploratory research and assessment.
  • •Conduct experimental development, including creating prototypes and simulations.
  • •Work in teams to deliver high-quality reports while developing junior team members.
  • •Assess new domains and technologies quickly and select suitable tools and methodologies.
  • •Identify vulnerabilities, prioritize research avenues, and apply vulnerability assessment or penetration-testing techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •Be familiar with a variety of tools and techniques, such as IDEs, debuggers, source control, Ghidra, FRIDA, Wireshark, and VMs, including fuzzing, scripting, and code injection.
  • •Have an intermediate to advanced understanding of computing principles, including stack/heap and compiled vs. interpreted languages.
  • •Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language with the ability to script or rapidly prototype.
  • •Be able to use and configure more than one major operating system and quickly pick up new languages and technologies.
  • •Communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and technical reports.
