Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop high-voltage, high-power-density motor-controller and inverter hardware for eVTOL applications.
  • •Own power-electronics system design across components, circuits, modules, and system integration from specification through prototype, reliability validation, and manufacturing.
  • •Optimize passive power components for power-electronics systems.
  • •Perform EMC testing and analysis for power-electronics systems and use test results to confirm functional and performance specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years of relevant electrical system and circuit board design experience.
  • •Hands-on power electronics expertise, including inverter technology, passive power devices, and power converter/motor control (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC).
  • •Experience with wide-bandgap device gate drive design (SiC and GaN) and high-voltage inverters (50kW–200kW at 400V–1000V).
  • •Proficiency with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer or Xpedition) and PCB layout; strong circuit analysis and lab-instrument skills.
