Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the successful delivery of major development applications and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across project types.
  • •Implement planning-related project management and quality/health and safety principles.
  • •Provide planning advice on planning consent requirements and the application of permitted development rights.
  • •Carry out planning research and analysis to support feasibility reports and consent strategies.
  • •Write planning statements and design and access statements; lead, submit, and manage planning applications with negotiation and liaison with planning authorities and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable and relevant experience working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Commercial awareness and ability to write clearly and concisely.
