Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment; road test vehicles to confirm malfunctions and proper operation.
  • •Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including independent parts and equipment reconciliation.
  • •Complete DOT forms and Repair Orders (including uploading photos of work, parts used, and findings) and operate in compliance with safety, health, environmental, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination such as additional certification/degree or 5+ years experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools; have OEM training and certifications (preferred).
  • •Can complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; must have a valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity (or DOT physical required).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; safe driving required.
