Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate with other banks and CIFAS about potential fraudsters in Monzo’s and other institutions’ customer bases.
  • •Liaise with law enforcement and triage inbound communications from institutions.
  • •Investigate unauthorised card fraud, unauthorised faster payment fraud, authorised card payment fraud, authorised faster payment fraud, and third-party account takeover attempts.
  • •Gather evidence from flagged transaction data and make decisions to uphold or decline fraud claims, including releasing or blocking flagged transactions.
  • •Provide advice and support to victims of fraud and complete post-investigation activity, including safeguards and appropriate remedial action.
