•Develop new and modify existing software systems for manufacturing, reliability, and R&D processes.
•Integrate shop floor systems with custom-developed and off-the-shelf solutions.
•Provide hyper-care and expert-level support for global manufacturing applications and database-related systems.
•Assist server, network, and DB administrators with troubleshooting enterprise-level problems.
•Document recurring issues, present possible solutions, and interface with other departments and supplier representatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 91,200 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Information Technology with two years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s with four years, or Associate’s with six years (or equivalent external/First Solar IT experience).
•4+ years working in manufacturing systems or on software development teams using Microsoft .NET technologies.
•6+ months interfacing with manufacturing control systems, shop floor interface/automation systems, PLCs, or OPC data transfer.
•Troubleshoot and program multi-tier architecture solutions using C#, XAML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, T-SQL, and MSMQ.
•Experience with software development life cycle, Agile teams, change management, and version control.
