Distinguished Software Engineer

Drive the long-term technical direction of Circle’s platform and core distributed systems. You’ll design and steward scalable, reliable architectures used across multiple products and teams, lead cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Compliance, and address technical debt and bottlenecks. Serve as a trusted technical authority and mentor senior engineers while shaping engineering standards, reliability/performance practices, and developer experience.
