Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform statutory duties as T3 required by the RSE and RGE, including Technical Competent Person responsibilities under the Buildings Department supervision plan.
  • •Accountable to and report to the AP/RSE/RGE under supervision of the RSE/RGE’s representative.
  • •Provide professional assistance to the Resident Engineer/TCP T5 or design office as appropriate.
  • •Review contractor proposed late-cast openings at structural elements and ensure works comply with approved plans, temporary works, method statements, and protective measures.
  • •Assist with quality assurance system, site safety and environmental systems, attend meetings, and prepare/submit bi-weekly site and QA/QC reports and records.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant experience post higher certificate/higher diploma in civil/structural/geotechnical engineering, or minimum 2 years post degree in civil/structural/geotechnical engineering.
  • •Relevant experience with superstructure, ELS, site formation and civil drainage works.
  • •Building works with significant geotechnical content would be an advantage.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • •Perform statutory duties as T3 required by the RSE/RGE including Technical Competent Person requirements under the Buildings Department supervision plan.
