Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure overall plant operations during the shift are safe and efficient in accordance with SOPs, quality standards, and schedules.
  • •Execute safe startup/shutdown, supervise start-up checklist/interlock checks/protection tests, and take corrective actions during abnormalities or emergencies.
  • •Coordinate plant operations with other departments, manage the permit to work system (issue/cancel permits), and coordinate activities involving plant chemistry.
  • •Monitor overall plant status, maintain shift log books and daily plant status reports, and ensure accurate recordkeeping for shift activities.
  • •Prepare incident/accident reports, support training and staff evaluation, implement IMS objectives and deviations root-cause corrective/preventive actions, and ensure regulatory and HSE compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering is required.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in Power / Desalination / RO Plant.
  • •Familiarity with quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and environment management system principles and applicable legal requirements.
  • •Strong capability in RCA and conducting Hazard/Aspect-Impact assessments.
  • •Working knowledge of permit to work and plant operational activities, including emergencies and spillage containment.
