Job Summary

Serve as a primary fund accountant for hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end registered products. Calculate net asset values, maintain portfolio accounting records, and ensure fund accounting is completed in accordance with GAAP. Reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals, allocate profits, prepare investor statements, and support expense analysis, audits, and tax schedules. Work with PCS (Investran) and Cascade while communicating complex accounting issues and meeting deadlines.

•Calculate net asset value(s) and disseminate financial and performance information to the investment advisor and investors.
•Record trades and income/expense activity and apply valuation of securities in the portfolio accounting system.
•Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system, and allocate fund-level profits for investor statements.
•Review and coordinate fund expense analysis and expense processing; prepare fund financial statements, audit, and tax schedules.

•Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis.
•Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively using Microsoft Office.
