Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee the Design Organisation’s day-to-day activities, including maintaining the Design Organisation Handbook and regulatory updates.
  • •Lead investigation, development, and implementation of design changes (modifications) for the flydubai fleet.
  • •Lead airworthiness and certification matters, including compliance with Design Organisation Approval and associated handbook requirements.
  • •Review open certification programmes for compliance-demonstration activity and resource alignment to established timelines.
  • •Coordinate third-party design changes (modifications) and supplemental type certificate implementations with type certificate holders, OEMs, and engineering/Maintenance stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (3+ years) in an engineering discipline, or an ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License.
  • •Fluent in English.
  • •Minimum 5 years relevant experience within a GCAA CAR-21 Subpart J / EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation, including at least 3 years holding a Compliance Verification Engineer approval.
  • •Proficient, demonstrable regulatory knowledge of GCAA CAR-21 Subpart J / EASA Part 21 Subpart J.
  • •Working knowledge of initial airworthiness and environmental protection (AMOS and Microsoft Suite knowledge desirable).
