Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the daily editorial process with the News Director, Managing Editor, and Assignment Desk Manager.
  • •Supervise producers, MMJs, and newsroom teams; ensure rundowns, scripts, and story treatments meet brand voice, tone, and structure requirements.
  • •Oversee multiplatform content planning and delivery across broadcast, digital, OTT/Streaming, and social media; adapt broadcast content for mobile, vertical, and on-demand formats.
  • •Serve as a key decision-maker during breaking news and major event coverage, with strong command of control room production and on-air timing.
  • •Streamline daily workflow by optimizing rundown flow and multiplatform delivery; mentor producers and writers and serve as backup producer/assignment editor when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • •Minimum 2–4 years of Executive Producer or senior newsroom leadership experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • •Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • •Knowledge of current newsroom technology, including non-linear editing and automation systems (e.g., iNews, Dalet, APC).
