Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and inspect dry utility network construction, including HV/LV cables, street lighting, telecom (Etisalat/DU), ITS, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with authority standards.
  • •Review and verify excavation, duct laying, backfilling, cable pulling, jointing, termination, and chamber installation works per specifications and approved method statements.
  • •Inspect trench preparation and utility installation layers to coordinate between dry and wet utility networks and avoid clashes.
  • •Review shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings for dry utilities and monitor contractor compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • •Coordinate with local authorities for inspections, NOCs, and approvals; maintain inspection records and verify testing/commissioning and handover documentation before closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •Candidate should have worked in UAE for minimum 3-5 years in RTA or DM projects.
  • •Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in Utilities engineering.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • •Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • •Ability to inspect and verify dry utility works (excavation, duct laying, backfilling, cable pulling, jointing, termination, chambers) against approved drawings and method statements.
