Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage complex nuclear waste management projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • •Provide technical leadership and expertise in nuclear waste management, including waste characterisation, treatment, storage, and disposal.
  • •Develop and implement waste management strategies, plans, and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
  • •Conduct and oversee technical assessments, risk evaluations, and feasibility studies to support project decision-making.
  • •Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •A minimum HNC qualification, preferably supported by a relevant science or engineering degree.
  • •Extensive relevant experience with strong technical knowledge and leadership capability in radioactive waste management.
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • •Strong understanding of engineering design principles and the ability to apply them within complex project environments.
  • •Experience in waste management including strategy development, waste inventory, regulatory compliance and related areas.
