Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform supplier quality oversight at the supplier site, including source inspection, process audits, and First Article Inspection (FAI) for composite and/or structural components.
  • •Act as the on-site quality point of contact between the supplier and Archer’s Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams.
  • •Review and disposition nonconforming material, drive containment actions, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • •Apply quality assurance principles and technical integrity oversight to ensure requirements are understood and quality control mechanisms provide assurance of delivered parts, assemblies, and/or services.
  • •Lead and/or support quality investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), corrective action (CA), and quality-related reporting, plus contribute to quality strategies and measurement frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering in complex manufacturing environments, with primary experience in composites and/or structures.
  • •Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • •Familiarity with quality tools and techniques including RCCA, Process Mapping, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • •Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and supplier auditing techniques.
