Key Responsibilities

  • •Recommend, design, develop, and implement products and/or processes aligned to customer and market needs and business strategy.
  • •Represent technical direction with internal stakeholders and customers, monitoring technology trends that may impact Amcor.
  • •Lead or support programs through stage gate, including planning, executing, and analyzing production trials using Design of Experiments, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.
  • •Ensure proper documentation of work and contribute to a knowledge library; protect Amcor intellectual property while meeting stakeholder needs.
  • •Lead technical process developments and improvements, collaborate with Engineering/Operations/Quality to resolve technical challenges, and help develop training on standard procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree required (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science preferred).
  • •5-8+ years of technical experience, preferably in manufacturing R&D or a process role across multiple technical processes.
  • •Experience leading product and process development projects with demonstrated sustained results.
  • •Ability to synthesize information across multiple inputs and apply it to business results.
  • •Knowledge of project management and tools including Design of Experiment, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.
