Key Responsibilities

  • •Design model policies that govern safe model behavior in an objective and defensible way, including how models respond in risky/unsafe scenarios and how safety is achieved while preserving capabilities
  • •Develop taxonomies to inform data collection campaigns, model behavior, and monitoring strategies, balancing utility and catastrophic risk
  • •Lead prioritization for safety efforts across the company for new model launches, addressing technical and business trade-offs
  • •Develop broad subject matter expertise across topics related to high-risk model behavior and safety
  • •Collaborate with multiple internal teams to apply policy decisions across training and deployment

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years researching LLMs, ML, AI, tech policy, moral reasoning, and/or classification problems
