Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost and commercial strategies, manage vendor prequalification, evaluate bids/proposals and bid leveling documents, and present recommendations after bid interviews.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, present value engineering recommendations and risk assessments, and benchmark costs using data from other projects.
  • •Establish cost reporting schedules, review/present cost reports and forecasts, maintain a commercial risk register, and run periodic meetings with the project team and vendors.
  • •Manage cost control activities including payment application assessments, contractor entitlements recommendations, change order review, and dispute prevention/management/resolution for contractual issues.
  • •Oversee invoicing, final accounting processes, post-contract audits/account closeouts, and post-contract reviews; develop procedures governing project handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial roles in the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably mission-critical, data center, industrial, commercial, or similarly complex environments.
  • •Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry topics (procurement strategies, value management, estimating, and value engineering), with strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
