Job Summary

Drive CHS Illinois operations in Shipman by hauling fertilizer, water, and grain to local farmers, ranchers, and CHS locations. Deliver and pick up materials accurately and safely, assist with loading/unloading as needed, and provide professional customer service. Ensure compliance with regulations (pre/post-trip reporting, load securement, hours of service), maintain vehicle cleanliness and daily inspections, and follow CHS safety and drug/alcohol testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Haul fertilizer, water, and grain to local farmers, ranchers, and CHS locations; ensure accurate, timely pick up and deliveries in a safe manner.
•Assist with or load/unload materials as needed and provide professional customer service, including greeting customers and handling concerns.
•Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including pre-trip/post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
•Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily maintenance inspections with preventive maintenance and repairs.
•Follow safety policies and procedures, enroll in random drug and alcohol testing, report incidents/accidents/violations, and assist operational staff as needed.

Key Requirements

•Hold a Class A CDL.
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
•Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
•Be able to work additional hours, including overnight stays and occasional weekends.
•Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred.
