Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and perform technical tasks supporting ITS, traffic engineering, and emerging transportation technology projects under a project manager.
  • •Develop ITS system and device designs, analyses, evaluations, and supporting technical documentation.
  • •Conduct traffic engineering studies, traffic impact analyses, operational assessments, and recommendations.
  • •Support connected and automated vehicle work, including transportation systems analysis, modeling, and simulation.
  • •Develop GIS-based transportation analyses and applications and prepare technical reports, presentations, and deliverables for clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in civil engineering or a related technical field plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Experience with connected and automated vehicle technologies, transportation systems, or emerging mobility applications.
  • •Traffic engineering and ITS design experience, including advanced traffic signal systems and traffic management applications.
  • •Experience performing traffic system modeling and simulation using industry-standard tools such as VISSIM, TransModeler, or TransCAD.
  • •Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD and experience developing systems engineering documentation for transportation technology projects.
