Key Responsibilities

  • •Own account-system subsystems end-to-end, including authentication, MFA, Passkey/WebAuthn, session & device trust, and registration/recovery.
  • •Design secure, low-friction authentication flows that work at millions-of-DAU scale.
  • •Partner with risk & security teams to turn threat models into shipped mobile defenses.
  • •Build an AI-native engineering practice with automated workflows, agents/evals/guardrails, and CI integration while safeguarding delivery quality.
  • •At Staff level, set technical direction beyond your subsystem and drive cross-team decisions across time zones.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep hands-on experience building native iOS and/or Android with strong CS fundamentals.
  • •Experience with shared business-logic across platforms (Rust + UniFFI strong plus; KMP, Flutter, or React Native valued).
  • •Fluency in at least one of Swift, Kotlin, Rust, Objective-C, Java, or JavaScript.
  • •Architecture experience owning solutions from requirements through production in large-scale mobile apps.
  • •Hands-on mobile authentication and security experience (OAuth/OIDC, MFA, secure storage, biometrics; Passkey/WebAuthn/FIDO2 advantage).
