Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard and safeguard non-citizen detainees and the general public at government buildings in custodial or court settings.
  • •Perform detention, processing, safeguarding, security, and escort duties as required by the contract.
  • •Qualify on a standard course of fire and complete training, including defensive tactics and required refresher training.
  • •Maintain surveillance and control of detainees, and keep order and discipline.
  • •Manage equipment and weapons, including inventorying and recording results in logbooks and performing area security and sanitation checks.

Salary: USD 32 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, residing in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •High school diploma (or GED) and at least 21 years of age.
  • •Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check with no criminal record.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •Hold a valid driver’s license or CDL, a firearm license, and be able to obtain an armed state security guard license in Minnesota or Nebraska.
