Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day technical delivery of highway consultancy services across project life cycles.
  • •Liaise with clients, build trusted relationships, and proactively manage expectations.
  • •Undertake project technical lead and reviewer roles; help maximise team contributions.
  • •Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets for individual projects.
  • •Lead and manage staff in delivering design drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities, supporting tender packages.

Key Requirements

  • •Highway design and/or drainage experience across project life cycle (feasibility to construction).
  • •Experience in leading one or more design disciplines on relevant projects (road, public transport, active travel).
  • •Ability to direct or check design outputs using software such as Autodesk Civils 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, InfoDrainage or PDS.
  • •Proactive change management with clear communication of impacts on programme, cost, and quality.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management; Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
