Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day technical delivery of highway consultancy services across project life cycles.
•Liaise with clients, build trusted relationships, and proactively manage expectations.
•Undertake project technical lead and reviewer roles; help maximise team contributions.
•Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets for individual projects.
•Lead and manage staff in delivering design drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities, supporting tender packages.

Key Requirements

•Highway design and/or drainage experience across project life cycle (feasibility to construction).
•Experience in leading one or more design disciplines on relevant projects (road, public transport, active travel).
•Ability to direct or check design outputs using software such as Autodesk Civils 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, InfoDrainage or PDS.
•Proactive change management with clear communication of impacts on programme, cost, and quality.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management; Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
