Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop mechanical system designs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage and firefighting based on project requirements and enforce compliance with relevant standards.
  • •Prepare and modify shop drawings and material submittals; coordinate with site teams for clarifications.
  • •Perform cooling load calculations, ventilation sizing, smoke management and pipe sizing; verify firefighting pump and tank capacities per regulations.
  • •Coordinate with electrical and ELV engineers to ensure proper integration of control systems and building management.
  • •Prepare technical reports and documentation; support in ESCO projects and energy efficiency studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • •Certifications such as CEM, CEA, CMVP, LEED AP, PQP, ESTIDAMA, ASHRAE or similar are a plus.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for MEP projects; minimum 3 years in a consultancy.
  • •UAE experience is a must, with knowledge of local authority approvals and standards.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, Pipe Flow Expert and CFD tools; ability to coordinate with electrical/ELV teams.
