Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input to the CHPP to achieve optimal metallurgical performance.
  • •Contribute to identification, development and delivery of CHPP process improvements.
  • •Analyse and improve processing systems to minimise lost opportunity in coal recovery and production volume.
  • •Critically review operating and technical data to identify trends or non-compliance and advise to rectify or optimise processes.
  • •Conduct root cause analysis and identify/ deliver projects to optimise CHPP operation for safety, volume and cost; work with suppliers to innovate across coal seams.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
  • •Previous experience in an operating processing plant within the coal or metalliferous industry is highly advantageous.
  • •Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and integrate with production and maintenance teams.
  • •Highly organised with strong analytical skills.
  • •Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
