Job Summary

Join our Dallas-based Property and Buildings team as an Associate Structural Engineer. You’ll support due diligence, remediation, and construction of building and infrastructure projects, assist with design and analysis of load-bearing structures, and prepare technical reports. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, use a range of design tools, and contribute to safe, compliant, and future-ready structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, and other sources for project development, design, and construction.
•Conduct or assist with research and inspections of site conditions to determine conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
•Support development of technologies, modeling techniques, and design requirements to ensure safety and functionality of end-users and transportation systems.
•Verify site characteristics and provide technical assistance on securing structural soundness from environmental or human loads.
•Write technical reports and documentation using sketches, calculations, spreadsheets, and 2D/3D illustrations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience.
•Knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
•Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design.
•Experience with discipline-specific design software (i.e., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, InRoads, Geopak, GeoSlope, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) and basic technical writing.
