Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hardware and software design activities for building automation systems and apply engineering principles to assigned projects.
  • •Design cost-effective control solutions using direct digital controls for electronic comfort control and automation systems.
  • •Obtain and review contract documents (mechanical plans, specifications, estimates, and equipment submittals) for incorporation into the automation system design.
  • •Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, sequences of operations, and Operation & Maintenance manuals; transition documentation to the field.
  • •Assist with wiring/programming, electrical terminations, commissioning, graphic development, test and startup, as required, and support customer satisfaction through feedback and solutions.

  • •Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Technology, or related fields, or 3+ years of experience in the HVAC or adjacent industry in project management or estimating roles.

  • •Experience using a drafting/design program is required.
  • •Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC systems, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls is preferred.
