Key Responsibilities

•Attend and complete required training and onboarding activities.
•Facilitate CS workshop sessions (3-hour blocks, 5 days/week) using a mix of whole-group, small-group, and individual formats.
•Prepare for sessions by reviewing materials and taking attendance; communicate absences to the Program Director.
•Manage classroom logistics and ensure the group stays on track to meet daily and summer outcomes.
•Document scholar progress, log weekly achievement data, and provide feedback to learners.

Key Requirements

•Experience teaching Computer Science to high school or college students.
•Proficiency in Python and/or AI, or digital design with focus on UX/UI (minimum one semester of college-level coursework or equivalent).
•Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills; reliability and professionalism.
•Experience facilitating workshops with 40-45 participants (high school level preferred).
•Willingness to embrace SMASH’s mission and teach with technology, adapting to new tools as needed.
