Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute a comprehensive global Industrial Gas category strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to Micron’s business, technology, manufacturing, sustainability, and growth objectives.
  • •Drive one-category, one-company sourcing strategies across regions and sites, including supplier segmentation, category optimization, and supplier capability development.
  • •Serve as executive sponsor for strategic suppliers, leading supplier business reviews and executive governance forums.
  • •Lead global commercial negotiations for long-term supply agreements, capacity reservation agreements, infrastructure investments, pricing mechanisms, sustainability agreements, and joint development initiatives.
  • •Establish supply continuity and supplier risk management, including dual-source qualification and contingency planning for geopolitical, operational, capacity, raw material, and transportation risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • •Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
  • •Experience leading global sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
  • •Demonstrated success managing strategic supplier relationships and complex business negotiations with strong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
