Job Summary

Support Sephora’s Privacy Legal team by investigating privacy matters, responding to discovery and litigation-related requests, and triaging internal and external privacy incidents. Partner cross-functionally to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks, assist with government/regulatory inquiries, and help maintain privacy policies, procedures, documentation, and training. Conduct legal research on privacy issues affecting marketing and emerging technologies, including AI, while staying current on US and international privacy laws.

•Support litigation investigations and discovery requests/responses related to privacy matters.
•Triage, investigate, and help resolve internal and external privacy incidents while improving the Privacy Response Plan.
•Partner cross-functionally to identify, assess, and help mitigate privacy risks across the business.
•Assist with government inquiries and regulatory investigations on privacy-related legal matters.
•Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, documentation, operational processes, and support privacy training and awareness.

Salary: USD 127,000 - 139,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
•3-5 years of experience supporting privacy, data protection, compliance, or legal operations.
•Working knowledge of US and international privacy laws, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and PIPEDA, plus breach notification requirements.
•CIPP/US and/or CIPM certification preferred.
•Experience supporting privacy reviews for AI technologies, digital advertising platforms, or emerging technologies is a plus.
