Job Summary

Lead and scale an Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineering team focused on reliable, always-on cloud services. Own long-term technical strategy and execution processes, develop proofs of concept, and guide software and platform feature delivery with security and risk considerations. Design operating-platform protocols (access management, configuration, disaster recovery, fault handling), build monitoring and automated governance frameworks within SOA, and collaborate with system engineering to ensure reliability from design through launch.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and oversee the SRE team, including recruitment, training, system operation and maintenance, coordination, and team culture.
•Oversee software system acquisition and development across organizational units, and drive a long-term technical strategy with milestones to improve competitiveness.
•Oversee development of proof-of-concepts and provide technical expertise on software and platform features, ensuring appropriate security and risk factors.
•Create protocols and strategies for critical operating-platform areas such as access management, configuration, disaster recovery, and fault handling.
•Devise and implement software platforms and monitoring frameworks to enable efficient, automated, and intelligent governance within a service-oriented architecture; collaborate with system teams to ensure reliability through launch.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field, plus more than 5 years of professional experience (including at least 3 years in Research and Development).
•Experience with operations and maintenance, including proficiency in Linux systems and networking, and practical experience managing large-scale distributed systems.
•Proven project and team management experience, with strong planning and summarisation skills.
•Demonstrated high responsibility, proactive team-oriented attitude, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
•Preferred: prior experience with extensive cloud-computing platforms; experience building large-scale distributed storage, scheduling, big data computing systems, or intelligent operations and maintenance.
