  • •Anticipate regulatory developments and engage policymakers early to shape outcomes ahead of key business decisions.
  • •Develop and implement an impact analysis framework to assess business effects of regulatory scenarios.
  • •Translate complex business strategies (digitalization, platforms, verticalization) into clear, data-driven narratives for institutional audiences.
  • •Mobilize cross-functional expertise and maintain visibility across regulatory and supervisory files, optimizing Allianz’s positioning and credibility.

Key Requirements

  • •Senior economist with 10+ years of experience in a top-tier insurance or financial services institution.
  • •Deep expertise in products, market segments, and their regulatory frameworks, with strong microeconomic analytical capabilities.
  • •Master’s or PhD in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field.
  • •Strong track record in regulatory affairs, public policy, or senior advisory roles.
  • •Fluent in English; additional French/Dutch are a strong asset, with experience navigating European insurance regulation (Solvency II, IDD, DORA, AI Act).
