Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls/terminations, rack fabrication and wiring, and equipment/metal layout.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects by coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • •Oversee Level 1 technicians’ quality of work and conduct client training per project scope.
  • •Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
  • •Test and troubleshoot point-to-point cabling and AV system functionality; manage jobsite equipment/tools and communicate daily status to the Project Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience, including installing/terminating/troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic).
  • •Intermediate understanding of audio-visual systems (projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, control systems).
  • •Experience with conduit runs, cable trays, and other wiring methods.
  • •Ability to read/interprete project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license with an MVR meeting company driving standards.
