Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the sourcing team to establish and develop vendor partnerships supporting brand product development strategies and growth plans.
  • •Communicate with brand stakeholders, product development, and design teams to build and adhere to a product development calendar for on-time samples and delivery.
  • •Enhance vendor capabilities and advocate for new technologies to drive process/product innovation, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
  • •Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance that drives profitability and supports shared goals.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally (Costing, Planning, Quality, Global Material Supply, Compliance, Responsible Sourcing, Finance, Logistics) to align on sourcing strategy and meet calendar and sample requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge of apparel with a key focus on the technical outdoor market.
  • •Proven experience developing knitted and woven apparel and managing a diverse product collection.
  • •Experience coaching and developing teams with timely, constructive feedback.
  • •Proven leadership experience managing multicultural teams and influencing stakeholders globally.
  • •Basic understanding of paper patterns creation and familiarity with digital product creation (advantage).
