Job Summary

Lead engineering for the New Deal For Pro team, reinventing how pros are matched with home service jobs using AI/LLMs. Own technical vision and strategy, partner closely with product design, applied science, and data science, and drive delivery against team OKRs. Hire, coach, and manage full-stack engineers, manage complex technical tradeoffs, and help maintain and scale the infrastructure that powers this new hiring experience.

•Define and evolve the technical vision and strategy for the team.
•Collaborate with product design, applied science, and data science on strategy and execution.

•Hire, coach, and manage full-stack engineers; maintain and scale team-owned infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in an engineering management role.
•5+ years of experience building software at scale.
•Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners and teams outside the org.
•Strong technical skills to guide teams on complex technical tradeoffs.
•Experience shaping technical and product strategy with design/product/data science, including decision-making using A/B testing and qualitative research.
