Deliver heavy equipment safely and efficiently from the rental facility, using real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Operate according to state and federal transportation laws, manage loading/unloading with proper signals and documentation, and perform routine truck service tasks such as checking fluids. Maintain required paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and complete deliveries by coordinating with the shipping office while following safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver the truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain and deliver required paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and facilitate routine truck service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air.

Key Requirements

•Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
