Job Summary

AECOM’s Southeast Transportation group is hiring Traffic Engineers and Designers at multiple levels to design and manage highway transportation projects. Roles include traffic signing/pavement markings, traffic signal design, and CAD work using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads on large Design/Build or alternative delivery projects in a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to design and management of large highway transportation projects (Design/Build or Alternative Delivery).
•Perform signing/pavement marking design and traffic signal design tasks.
•Utilize Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads for design work.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.
•Support CAD design activities across junior, mid, and senior levels in a hybrid work environment.

Key Requirements

•BS in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Junior level: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Mid-Level: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Senior Level/Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience; knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book and MUTCD
