Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end supplier development for the power electronics and power conversion portfolio within the Starlink User Terminal BOM, spanning supplier selection, NPI, qualification, production ramp, and reactive quality support.
  • •Engage early with suppliers on selection, equipment selection, and process engineering to set up high-volume manufacturing programs with fully characterized material and processes.
  • •Assess supplier capabilities and readiness for high-volume production of power electronics, including Si, SiC, and GaN designs, power topologies, magnetics, capacitors, and thermal management.
  • •Lead NPI activities, PPAP, FAI, ramp, and reliability campaigns to enable full-rate manufacturing.
  • •Develop robust qualification plans (power cycling, thermal validation, HALT, HASS, EMI/EMC) and standardize protocols across the supply base.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience in power electronics, quality engineering, reliability engineering, or supplier development.
  • •Strong technical background in power conversion topologies, power semiconductors, magnetics, thermal management, and EMI/EMC.
  • •Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and FAI for power components.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear one-pagers and presentations.
