Job Summary

Senior Electrical Design Engineer will oversee electrical systems for building projects in healthcare facilities, from design through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring codes and standards compliance, and delivering cost-effective, innovative solutions. The role leads design processes, coordinates drawings and specifications, and liaises with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee electrical system design, coordination and integration for building projects from design through project administration.
•Lead the design process, promoting cost-effective and innovative solutions.
•Coordinate project documentation (drawings, specifications) and review team inputs.
•Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure electrical design intent and regulatory compliance, from concept through construction.
•Identify and manage risks, ensuring adherence to commercial and contractual processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering ( Electrical Engineering major)
•5+ years of relevant engineering design experience in electrical systems
•Experience in healthcare facilities is advantageous
•Proficient with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ETAP, SKM, PowerCad, and AGI32
•Strong communication and coordination skills across clients, consultants, contractors and authorities
