Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • •Learn principles of Electrical Engineering including power distribution design, lighting design, and low-voltage systems.
  • •Read and interpret building plans and electrical diagrams and assist with preliminary design calculations and analyses.
  • •Collaborate with senior engineers to develop drawings and specifications and support project documentation.
  • •Travel to job sites to survey existing buildings and review construction progress as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.9 - 31.11 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related Undergraduate program through Drexel University with an anticipated graduation date of March 2027 or later
  • •Demonstrated interest in Electrical Engineering, or related, field and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects
  • •Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience
  • •Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects
  • •Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
