Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to manage successful contract execution.
  • •Lead new proposal pursuits and support contract execution for a critical program area within Naval Power, Naval Air Missiles (NAM).
  • •Identify, mitigate, and drive resolution of contractual issues as they arise.
  • •Ensure negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and provide guidance on rights, obligations, and mitigation of risks.
  • •Interface with customers on correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues while maintaining effective working relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3 years’ experience).
  • •Experience related to contracts management, program management, business management, finance, legal, supply chain processes, and/or procurement.
  • •Experience with contracts, terms and conditions, RFPs, RFQs, and FAR/DFARS or similar contract environments.
  • •Ability to apply analysis and critical thinking to resolve complex contractual and program issues.
  • •Preferred: experience with contracts negotiations/execution and agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements.
