Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and lead QC inspectors and NDT personnel, including training/mentorship and performance evaluations.
  • •Monitor quality control and surveillance activities for construction contracts, including planning and implementation of Contractors’ Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans.
  • •Supervise contractors’ QC and surveillance work during prefabrication and construction to verify conformity with company specifications and procedures.
  • •Supervise critical activities such as welding, non-destructive examinations, and performance testing, including increased inspection levels when requirements are not met.
  • •Manage NCRs by initiating root-cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and maintain quality documentation and records.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • •Oversee Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities across project construction packages, modification works, and surveillance/inspection support.
  • •Responsible for Quality assessments and supporting quality studies while developing technical deliverables and providing engineering expertise to multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Direct experience supervising QC inspectors and NDT personnel, including training/mentorship, performance evaluation, and planning/scheduling of QC work.
  • •Preferred: AMPP/NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist or equivalent; API 571 and/or API 580 certification.
