Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute France-specific GA&PP strategies aligned with global and EMEA priorities.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and influence legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across relevant ministries, agencies, and local governments.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with French government ministries, regulators, and public-sector stakeholders; represent HP in consultations and advisory forums.
  • •Align public procurement and market access priorities with policy advocacy, partnering with sales, legal, and compliance teams while maintaining strict compliance.
  • •Translate complex technology and business issues (including AI and digital-policy developments) into public policy narratives and advise senior leadership on business impacts and risks.

Key Requirements

  • •10-15 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, public-sector procurement, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in France’s political, regulatory, and public procurement systems, with a track record of senior-level government stakeholder engagement.
  • •Strong credibility and established professional networks in France’s public-sector procurement ecosystem, including national and/or local government bodies.
  • •Deep understanding of France’s public procurement frameworks and processes, including large-scale IT, digital, and services procurement.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, with business-level English required.
