Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and assure telecommunications systems design outputs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and standards.
  • •Deliver telecommunications systems design and consultancy projects and lead project teams based in Bengaluru.
  • •Contribute telecommunications systems engineering inputs/outputs for rail engineering projects, including multi-disciplinary coordination and interface management.
  • •Produce and verify technical deliverables (reports, schedules, drawings, technical schematics) and manage resource needs for task completion.
  • •Lead large-scale telecommunications projects through site support and final customer acceptance, including mentoring junior designers and performing reviews/approvals of design documents.

Key Requirements

  • •14–20 years of telecommunications systems design experience, with UK Rail experience preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of cabling standards and best practices (NR, LU, TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC).
  • •Ability to produce telecommunications design deliverables across project phases (conceptual, preliminary, detailed) including drawings and cable schedules.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and Revit, AutoCAD, Navis, and Revu Bluebeam.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working toward chartership, with membership of IET/IRSE/BICSI or relevant professional body; certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/RCDD/PSP) are an asset.
