Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily operations for terminal(s) and/or pump station(s), including marine transfer facility activities where applicable, while staying within budget and addressing budget variances.
  • •Supervise operations staff and workload planning, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and initiating/recommending selection, promotion, salary changes, and discipline.
  • •Serve as a liaison between terminal activities and customers to resolve scheduling, overages, shortages, and quality control issues.
  • •Coordinate requirements for military and commercial products, including quality control, additives, notification procedures, sampling, meter calibration, and witnessing where required.
  • •Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations and protect company assets, including hazardous waste handling, contractor coordination, inspections, and emergency response (24/7 call-out).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) required; college coursework in a technical or business field helpful.
  • •5-7+ years of well-rounded pipeline operations experience, including products movement, mechanical maintenance, personnel management, and legal/environmental requirements.
  • •Knowledge of refined petroleum pipeline facilities, management and supervisory principles, and general engineering practices (e.g., drafting, piping, valves, hydraulics).
  • •Current valid State driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • •Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong communication and ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
